If you missed our inaugural day of coworking last week at Venue222, you missed a bustling, energetic day of activity.  If you attended, you saw:

• some people working with their headphones on all day long.
• periods of networking and long conversation.
• a group of coworkers grab the big table in the back room and fill the whiteboard with notes.
• at least three ping pong games break out.
• a couple instances of people sneaking away upstairs for conference calls.

And that doesn’t include all the coffee-drinking, tweeting, and the walk to Iris Book Cafe for lunch in their courtyard.

If you missed it, we’ll be doing it again, with some changes based on feedback.  Follow all our developments via any of the means below.

We at Cincinnati Coworks are organizing our first day of coworking!  And we couldn’t have found a better facility for it.

Join us on Tuesday, September 29th from 10am to 5pm at Venue 222, the Urban Event Space, at 222 East 14th St. in historic Over-The-Rhine.

Why should you attend?  Because you:

• Work from home and need a break.
• Need a creative or inspirational boost, and know that hobnobbing with other creatives can give it to you.
• Want to learn something new or share your expertise.
• Want to meet new people.
• Are interested in helping bring the coworking movement to Cincinnati.

We’re also going to try something new, a novel exercise to connect those in need of new work with those in need of someone with expertise. You have to attend to participate!

Date: Tuesday, September 29th from 10am until 5pm.

Location: Venue222. 222 East 14th St. Cincinnati, OH 45208

Cost: $10.

You can pay your admission fee ahead of time at Eventbrite. Or you can just show up, and pay at the door. While the $10 is necessary and goes entirely to use of the space, it is an easy way to show real commitment and interest in what we’re trying to do here.

Parking: There is a lot alongside the building that is shared among Venue222, Willow Creative, and Lightbourne Studios. You can park in the spots labeled "Urban222", but no other spots. There is also parking in the street, but it fills up fast. Your best bet may be to use the lot on Sycamore, which is less than a block away and is only $3/day (see Google map).

Facility:

• 4815 square feet on 2 floors
• Exposed brick and wood beam architecture
• Restrooms on each floor
• Open kitchen area
• Large windows with views of the city
• Access to urban green space for outdoor activities, should the mood strike you

Amenities:

• White boards and markers
• Easels and paper
• Tables and chairs
• Wireless Internet access
• Coffee and water and candy snacks with admission
• Vended beverages $0.50.
